Delete your account

Prefer to do it yourself? You can delete your account at any time from within the app: open the Yard Sale Finder app, go to the Profile tab, and choose Delete account. After you confirm, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion following a short grace period (shown in the app) — it keeps working until then, and you can cancel from the app any time before the scheduled date. The deletion then completes automatically. If you no longer have access to the app, use the email request below.

You have the right to delete your Yard Sale Finder account and the personal data associated with it. To request deletion by email, send a message to support@axelstack.com from the email address on your account and include the following:

The subject line "Account deletion request";
The email address or username associated with your account;
A brief statement that you want your account and data deleted.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete your account and the personal information tied to it, including:

Your profile and account details (name, email, and login credentials);
Sale listings, photos, and other content you posted;
Your saved searches, favorites, and notification preferences;
Reports and blocks associated with your account.

What we may retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or where it has been aggregated or de-identified so it can no longer be linked to you. Content that other users have independently saved or that is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms of Service may also be retained for as long as necessary. Any retained data is kept only for as long as needed and is then deleted.

How long it takes

We aim to confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days. We may need to verify that you are the owner of the account before processing the request, and we will contact you at the account email address if we need more information.
